Enquiries through the form and email.
If you contact us, we process your name, email address, optional phone number and message to respond to your enquiry and manage the resulting relationship. Required form fields are marked; the phone number is optional.
The form forwards the enquiry by email. Data is not published on the website or used to subscribe you automatically to promotional communications. Avoid including unnecessary health data or sensitive information.
Information is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any obligations connected with the relationship. Technical and email service providers may process it to the extent necessary to provide those services.
Browsing and website protection.
When browsing, technical data such as IP address, request date and time, requested pages and device information may be processed to provide the website, detect errors and prevent abuse.
The website uses technical WordPress functions. Access to the administration panel may require authentication cookies. The form’s anti-spam functions limit repeated submissions; the website does not keep a public copy of messages.
Google Maps and external links.
Google Maps loads automatically on the Contact page. Google receives your IP address and technical browser data and may use cookies and other identifiers. For users in Switzerland, the controller is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland.
External links, including WhatsApp and LinkedIn, open only when you choose them. The respective services’ terms and privacy notices apply.
WhatsApp links open a Meta service. Using these services is optional; you can also contact us by phone, email or the form.
Services used and form checks.
Business email uses OVHcloud Email Pro, with data hosted in France. The form forwards your enquiry to info@rost-international.com; it does not create a message archive in WordPress.
Before sending, we validate the fields on the server. Your phone number remains optional. To check whether the email domain can receive mail, we query DNS using only the domain, without the mailbox name or message content. This check does not certify that the individual mailbox exists.
To prevent abuse, we use a field hidden from visitors, a form verification token and temporary submission counters associated with an identifier derived from the IP address. We do not use puzzles, SMS or external address-verification services.
Brand logos and advertising images are served from our hosting. We do not add advertising pixels or behavioural analytics tools. Clicking a banner may open the advertiser’s website, which is subject to its own privacy policy.
Google also processes data outside Switzerland, including in the USA, under its privacy policy. We do not determine its retention periods.
Your requests.
You can contact us to request information about your data and, where provided by applicable rules, access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Requests are assessed taking account of retention obligations and other applicable conditions.
This information may be updated when the website’s functions or the services used change.
